The story is about the fascinating time traveling and a western romance. Jenni Dalton, a school teacher, takes a group of teenagers to show a comet for them for an astronomy class. When the comet passes, it causes some unbelievable changes. Jenni and her students travel back in time when the comet passes and they reach the Oklahoma plains and the year is 1985. There, Marshal Rafe D’Angelico and his brother Cris were killed by their friend who shoots them for a few gold coins. Both of them become angels and they meet their mentor Beck Jansen and they both have a mission of protecting Jennie from the evil, the Milo. Rafe realizes that Jennie is the woman who comes often in his dreams and he wants to become a human so that he could be Jennie. But, Beck does not tell him why they are like angels. But he tries in all the possible ways to become a human. Rafe’s brother Cris appears and tells him that Jennie is the one who the devil is after. Then, Rafe realizes that he has to be an angel to protect her and if he becomes a human, he cannot protect her from the devil. The author, Pierson has given each and every step of the story in an interesting and crispy manner and it is very easy to read. The suspense makes the readers to go into the story.
