The story starts with the unknown personality Paul Gregory who owns a night club called the ‘Pal’s’. He used to work for the blue moon saloon. He found that even many people come to the saloon there was no remarkable profit or at least corresponding profit. Later, he comes to know that the bartender always will keep the cash box closed and does not lock it and even sometimes he uses the money. As he reported to the owner of the saloon, Maureen McElroy, he gave him some extra powers other than working in the saloon. As days roll on, the owner dies and Paul inherits the night club. On the other side Liliane Greening, a researcher at the university, dates a professor cum chairman of the university, Sam Meredith who is from a royal background. Though Liliane is not attracted to money, she has attraction towards Sam. Sam proposes to Lili indirectly and she accepts his proposal. Though Lili likes Sam, she does not like his family and feels that she has nobody. Even Sam goes outside regarding business without informing her. This makes her feel neglected. The interesting about the mystery man Paul is that he pops up in all the places where Lili can be found and it does not seem like a coincidence. They start to become friends, but Lili keeps her relationship with Paul at a distance as she is engaged to Paul who has a concern that Lili is marrying Sam. Are they hiding anything from Sam? The story has many twists and surprising turns which makes you more interested if you start reading the book.

Rafe realizes that Jennie is the woman who comes often in his dreams and he wants to become a human so that he could be Jennie. But, Beck does not tell him why they are like angels. But he tries in all the possible ways to become a human. Rafe’s brother Cris appears and tells him that Jennie is the one who the devil is after. Then, Rafe realizes that he has to be an angel to protect her and if he becomes a human, he cannot protect her from the devil. The author, Pierson has given each and every step of the story in an interesting and crispy manner and it is very easy to read. The suspense makes the readers to go into the story.

She rescues him a week later for she had the vision of him drowning and his name is Leif. Leif was going to marry a woman in Iceland who just looked like Kat. But his ancestor betrayed him by marrying him to the woman who is already pregnant and carrying another man named Scipio’s child. When Leif went there, they attacked him after the wedding ritual and throw him overboard. But Leif was shocked to be with a woman, who just looked like her and in the year 2006. Initially he fears to trust her and she wins over as days passed. Her friends help him to live and get used to 2006. She brings him to her mother and they have a short meeting. Later her mother dies. She finds a pendant which allows them to travel back in time. She wants to go back to the past with Leif and she did not tell him that it works in a reverse way, which he finds out when they were going to 900 A.D. Denmark. Will he love her after he comes to know the truth and will they survive the harsh culture of Vikings? All we can say is that the author has portrayed a perfect world of the ancient San Francisco and the book is a masterpiece.
